Investigation into ex-civil affairs pair

LI Liguo, former minister of civil affairs, and Dou Yupei, former vice minister of civil affairs, are being investigated by the Party’s Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
Senior official Luo Dongchuan said the agency suspects the two former officials of negligence. They will face punishments in accordance with their violations once the facts and details of their cases are made clear, Luo told reporters.
Additional information will be published when the cases are closed, he added.
