Japan Visas Encourage Big Spenders
INDIVIDUAL Chinese tourists are likely to visit Japan with multiple-entry visas from this summer.
The Japanese government has decided to issue the visas with an aim to encourage repeat visitors with high purchasing power, Kyodo News reported yesterday.
Japan relaxed requirements for Chinese visitors last July by issuing tourist visas to those with incomes from 250,000 yuan ( US$37,929) and gold credit card holders.
