Japanese authorities have decided to free the captain of a Chinese fishing boat who has been illegally held by Japanese authorities since September 8, Japanese media reported.
The Chinese government will send a chartered plane to bring back the Chinese trawler captain illegally detained by Japan, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu said in Beijing today.
