TWO people were killed and another five injured when a steam boiler in a school in east China's Jiangsu Province exploded this morning, local authorities said.
The explosion occurred at about 9 am in the canteen of Huangshan Foreign Language School in Dahuangshan Township, Xuzhou City.
The blast also damaged glass in the surrounding buildings.
Rescue personnel said that no students were found dead or injured following the accident.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
