KMT chief arrives in Shanghai for talks

ERIC Chu, Chairman of Taiwan’s Kuomintang party, arrived in Shanghai yesterday for a cross-Strait forum.
Chu is leading a delegation to the 10th Cross-Strait Economic, Trade and Culture Forum, scheduled for today. Representatives of small- and medium-sized firms, youth groups, financial companies, and cultural and educational organizations will take part in the event. After the forum, Chu will meet President Xi Jinping in Beijing to discuss exchanges and relations across the Taiwan Strait.
