Key China-Europe forum starts today in Suzhou

THE fourth China-Europe High-Level Political Parties Forum will be held in Suzhou City, east China's Jiangsu Province, today and tomorrow, with about 200 representatives from China and Europe attending.

The forum's organizers include the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and the Jiangsu provincial government.

The theme of the forum, to take place at Suzhou Taihu Lake International Conference Center, is promoting win-win cooperation for new breakthroughs in China-Europe relations, which includes three subthemes: How to build a cooperative and win-win China-Europe community of common destiny; China's path of peaceful development and China-Europe cooperation in international affairs; and China's new development objectives and China-Europe concrete cooperation.

The European representatives include leaders of 43 political parties from 26 European countries, a regional European political party and more than 100 high-ranking officials from three European think tanks, while Chinese participants include leaders of relevant ministries and departments, experts and scholars, young politicians and representatives of entrepreneurs involved in relations between China and Europe.

A dialogue of young politicians from China and Europe is also scheduled.

The forum provides a platform for China and Europe to conduct high-level, multilateral and strategic dialogues on innovative practice.
