Kindergarten kids get business cards

A MOTHER in central China has designed a business card for her toddler to gain preferential treatment from kindergarten teachers, a newspaper in Wuhan city reported today.
The mother surnamed Liu said she was only following suit after seeing other children hand out beautifully designed business cards when meeting their teachers or new friends, reported Chutianjin Daily.
She said the cards carried the parents' official job titles to win favor from the teachers, the report said.
"Bosses in the workplace would treat me better if I have relatives who are officials, and the same thing happens in a child's world too," Liu told the newspaper.
Liu said she accepted that some people thought it was too materialistic, but the cards were useful for socializing with other parents too.
