Land Rover runs out of Beijing overhead road, landing on passing car
A Land Rover broke through guardrails of an elevated road in wee hours this morning in Beijing and landed on a sedan passing on the ground with both drivers luckily escaping fatal injuries, Beijing Times reported.
Driver of the Land Rover reportedly was drunk driving at time of the crash, some of his relatives reportedly told the newspaper. The driver, stuck in his car and pulled out by some passers-by, was being treated at hospital for some rib and head injuries, the report said.
The driver on the smashed sedan was not injured, the report said.
The crash is still being investigated.
