Lecturer stabbed to death in his car
AN associate professor at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts was murdered in his car in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong Province, local media reported yesterday.
Li Chen, 53, was stabbed to death in his sports car on July 10, and the suspect is still at large, New Express reported yesterday.
Li returned to his car around 10pm that night. Several passers-by saw the car shaking, but didn't hear any noise. Li was later found unconscious in the car with multiple knife wounds, a parking fee collector in the area told the newspaper.
Li was pronounced dead after paramedics arrived.
Police declined to say anything while their investigation continues, the report said.
Li's family told Nanfang Daily that the associate professor got along very well with his students and colleagues.
