Lhasa tourism booming

THE number of Chinese and foreign visitors to Lhasa, capital of southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, in the first 10 months rose 12 percent from the same period of 2014 to 11.6 million, the city government said yesterday. Tourism revenue in the period increased by 38 percent year on year to 15 billion yuan (US$2.3 billion), it said.
