Looking good enough to eat

PEOPLE display sugar-coated haws, a treat made from the fruit of the hawthorn, they had made during a contest for the most traditional ones yesterday in Qingdao, Shandong Province in east China. The contest was part of the opening ceremony of a sugar-coated haw festival, a winter version of Qingdao's beer festival.
