Mad man hacks 9 people in Xi'an hospital early today
A man who allegedly hacked nine people this morning in a hospital in Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi Province in northwest China, has been apprehended.
The suspect, in his 50s, broke into the Xi'an No. 521 Hospital early today and hacked anyone in his way, witnesses told Xi'an Radio.
The nine victims were patients and emergency department staff. Pools of blood could be seen in the hospital, says the radio report.
Police subdued the man and began an investigation into the cause of his rampage.
It is not yet known whether the man has any mental problem.
