Malice maybe the cause of fatal car accident

A local official whose car injured 12 people three years ago caused another accident yesterday, killing one and wounding two in Xunlian County, Sichuan Province.
Some people accused Nie Duorao, the official, of drunk driving. But local police said the accident has nothing to do with drunk driving and the cause is still under investigation.
The victims are a 50-year-old man and his two granddaughters aged six and two years old. The elder girl died. The man is still in the intensive care unit, and the two-year-old may face amputation.
It was reported that Nie was removed from his position in January.
