Mall fire put out

A fire in a downtown shopping center in Zhengzhou has been put out and did not cause any casualties, local sources said yesterday.
The fire broke out at about 3pm on the third floor of a department store in the capital of Henan Province. Fire and black smoke soon engulfed the building.
About 40 fire engines and 200 firefighters were dispatched to the scene. As of 5:30pm yesterday, the fire was put under control.
Firefighters said 47 people were evacuated and there were no reports of casualties.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
