Man angered over crash backs over, kills woman

A MAN was detained for intentionally backing his car over a couple, killing a woman, after becoming angry over being blamed for a car accident, Nanfang Metropolis Daily reported today.
The incident happened in Shenzhen in southern China on Tuesday. A driver surnamed Fu sped up and attempted to pass on the right another car in which a man surnamed Chen and his wife were riding, the report said.
At a crossroads in Longgang District, Fu attempted to turn left onto another street in front of Chen about 8:15pm, the report said. Chen's car crashed into Fu's car and the traffic police were called.
Police held Fu responsible for the crash since he had made an illegal turn, the report said.
Fu disagreed with the judgment and suddenly pulled his car up and backed into Chen and his wife, police said. Chen was injured but his wife died on the spot, police said.
Fu was detained and may be charged with intentional homicide, police said.
