Man arrested after woman falls to death

A MAN who allegedly threw his wife to her death from their fourth-floor apartment after an argument has been arrested.
Police in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, said the husband, surnamed Huang, seized his wife at about 8am on Sunday and hurled her from the balcony while witnesses looked on, yesterday's Guangzhou Daily reported.
A neighbor said the couple had been fighting because the wife had accused Huang of sleeping with another woman.
The couple started quarreling at 5am that day and attracted the attention of police assistants who failed to enter the room. A couple who shared the apartment with the Huangs said they couldn't get in either as the couple were too busy fighting and refused to open the door.
A neighbor surnamed Zhang said the arguments stopped after two hours of screaming and fighting and things being broken.
But an hour later, Huang opened the door, carrying his wife in his arms, and threw her from the balcony before anyone could stop him, said Zhang.
The building is an employee dormitory of a shoe factory.
