Man attacks pedestrians with knife in Shenzhen, killing 3

A MAN attacked pedestrians with a knife on the street in Shenzhen this morning. Three victims have been confirmed dead while three others injured.

The assailant has been identified as a 41-year-old man, surnamed He, hailing from Guangdong Province. He also injured himself and is currently being treated in the hospital under police control.

He started the rampage on a street in the Cuizhu neighborhood in the Luohu District at about 9:45am. He had slashed several pedestrians before police arrived and detained him.
