Man charged with homicide after pregnant woman beaten to death

A MAN was charged with homicide after he beat a pregnant woman to death in Guangzhou on Monday because he suspected she was after him, New Express Daily reported today.
The woman was four months pregnant, according to one of her friends, the report said.
The man was walking on Shiliugang Road around 2am on Monday and suspected the woman was following him. He followed her to the second floor of a house and beat her to death, the report said.
The man appeared incoherent and absentminded while being interrogated, according to the report.
The newspaper said the man would be given psychological tests to determine whether he has a mental illness.
