Man confesses to beating daughter to death

A man confessed to beating his 6-year-old daughter to death in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province, according to Legal Evening News, which cited the city’s public security bureau.
Police had the 24-year-old father surnamed Wang in custody, the report said.
Wang took his daughter to a hospital yesterday morning. She was covered with cuts and bruises and the corner of her mouth was bleeding, the report said. The doctor found no life signs and reported to the police.
When the police arrived Wang confessed to officers that he had beaten his daughter, the newspaper said.
Police officers added that their investigation was ongoing.
