Man detained in fatal stabbing of woman driving BMW in Guilin

A MAN suspected of stabbing a woman to death in her BMW was detained in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region yesterday, China News Service reported.
Police nabbed the 38-year-old suspect surnamed Wang in a deserted house in Quanzhou County, Guilin city at 5:20pm yesterday.
Wang, a farmer in Quanzhou County, stabbed a woman who sat in her BMW sedan around 6:08pm on March 3 on Cang Song Road, Guilin city, police said. He fled on a stolen red motorcycle.
Authorities released no likely motive in the case.
The victim died despite attempts to revive her, the report said. Police offered a reward to capture the suspect after the initial investigation.
