Man dies trying to save his new car from sliding down a slope

A man trying to stop his newly-bought car rolling downhill was crashed to death in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China News Service reported.
The tragedy occurred Wednesday morning. The villager surnamed Lei in Xiangzhou County pulled the brake and stopped his car on a slope. After he got off, he found the car was moving down and he rushed to the rear in order to stop it, local police said.
He was hit by the car and fell to the roadside ditch, together with the vehicle.
Local villagers pulled him out but he died en route to the hospital for severe wounds.
Traffic police are checking the car as a further investigation is ongoing.
