Man draws 1-yuan cash repeatedly to punish bank clerk
AN unhappy customer was drawing money from a bank in Ji'nan, the capital of Shandong Province one yuan at a time because he wanted to punish a bank clerk, Shandong Business News reported today.
A bank employee said this customer was probably angry for his long wait and the manner of the clerk as he was drawing 1 yuan at a time repeatedly for about one hour.
The bank called the police eventually, but the police said they could only do nothing except mediation because the man's behavior didn't break any law or bank rule.
Some customers waiting in line said they understood what this man was doing but criticized it as a wrong way to express dissatisfaction.
"It not only wastes his time but ours as well. We have to wait behind him for a long hour," one customer grumbled.
