Man dressed up to kill
A MAN who dressed up to rob a villa in a rich neighborhood, killed the four people who caught him in the act.
Covered in blood, he then changed into women's clothes to make his escape.
Zhao Yonggui, from Mile County in Yunnan Province, was yesterday sentenced to death.
The Kunming Intermediate People's Court rejected the 26-year-old's defense that he hadn't intended to kill anyone but did it "on impulse," Yunnan.cn reported.
Zhao, who had lived in Kunming City for some years, picked out a villa in a luxury development called "Shiny Coast" as a likely target.
Zhao told police he dressed smartly when he entered the neighborhood last September to fool security guards.
He had two knives with him.
After he broke into the villa, he encountered the householder surnamed Hu. Zhao stabbed Hu and another man to death, the court heard.
When Zhao went downstairs, Hu's wife, surnamed Leng, and her mother, surnamed Lu, were returning home. Zhao killed them both.
Stuffing stolen items in a bag with his blood-stained clothes, Zhao then dressed as a woman to make his escape.
He was caught on a train back to his hometown.
