A SUSPECTED Ebola case in Taiwan turned out to be a hoax when tests on the man, 19, proved negative, officials said yesterday. The man said he’d been vomiting and had had diarrhea since returning from Nigeria. After a period of isolation, doctors found he did not have a fever, and authorities said there is no evidence he has ever left Taiwan.
