Police detained a man after he fired a gun today in a hospital in Zhejiang Province and injuring an elderly patient.
The cause of the incident remained unclear.
Police confirmed they caught the man, surnamed Liang, after he fired a gun at the ceiling inside a hospital in Jiaxing City. He later hit an elderly patient with the butt of the gun.
The patient was not seriously hurt, police added.
