Man held over killing of eight in Liaoning Province

A man who allegedly killed eight people and injured another five last night have been arrested by police in northeastern Liaoning Province.
The murderer surnamed Li had quarrels with his girlfriend and took a long-distance coach from Fushun City to Yongling Town to kill the woman and her relative around 9pm yesterday.
On his way back, the Liaoning native stabbed six passersby to death and injured another five, Xinhua News Agency reported today.
The wounded people are under the medical treatment.
The police investigation is ongoing.
