Man kills 2 at Beijing’s Palace Museum

A KNIFE-WIELDING man killed two people in a canteen at Beijing’s Palace Museum today around noon, a local newspaper reported.

The suspect attempted suicide, and was being treated at a hospital. Police were standing outside the operating room.

Ambulances and police cars were seen at the east door of the Palace Museum.

The attack was believed to have been triggered by a private feud, the report said.
