Man kills 2, sexually defiles corpse
A BEIJING court sentenced a 20-year-old man to death yesterday for killing a couple during a robbery and sexually defiling the woman's corpse in April.
Teng Xianhe was the only adult suspect in the case who stood trial in Beijing No.1 Intermediate People's Court, reported China News Service yesterday. Another three underage suspects will be tried separately.
Teng said he will appeal the sentence. He argued that he was singled out in the case because he was an adult. During the trial, Teng acted as if he didn't care about the case at all, the report said.
Teng's parents cried after the sentencing, but agreed with the court's decision.
Xin Xue and Wang Yuxin, both 19, were killed in a forest on April 8.
