Man kills cop in act of revenge

A MAN allegedly killed a policeman and injured three other cops yesterday morning in an act of revenge after being caught by law enforcement officials for violating traffic rules in Luoyang, central China’s Henan Province, police said.
The suspect surnamed Deng, 42, was fined for riding a motor tricycle without license on Tuesday afternoon. On returning home, he decided to take revenge on police and drank a lot of alcohol, Deng told police.
Around 7:40am, armed with a knife, he went to the spot where he was caught and stabbed policemen who were on duty, causing one death and three injuries, police said. Other police officials and passers-by managed to inhibit him at the scene.
The injured policemen are being treated in hospital.
