Man sentenced to life for raping 3 girls and retarded woman kept detailed sex diaries

A SECURITY guard was sentenced to life imprisonment for raping three underage girls and a mentally challenged woman in Hefei, capital of east China’s Anhui Province, a local newspaper reported today.

Liu Qiang, 39, also kept lurid diaries that indicated he had lured hundreds of women he met online to have sex with him in the past 15 years, local prosecutors said.

Liu wrote diary entries after having sex with each woman, describing their characteristics and his feelings, prosecutors said. It was not clear whether any of the sexual encounters aside from the four victims involved force.

He met the women via QQ, an online instant message service, using fake personal information. He usually took them to his home for sex, the report said.

The three teenagers, among the women Liu lured, had sex with him between 2009 and 2010.

In his diary entry for November 18, 2009, he said victim No. 59, surnamed Dong, was a virgin. They had sex at the girl’s house though he knew the girl was only 12 year old, the diary said. He said in the diary that “raping minors feels extraordinarily pleasant.”

Those who have sex with minors under the age of 14 or the mentally challenged will be charged with rape, according to Chinese Criminal Law.

Liu met a mentally challenged woman surnamed Yu via online chat in 2010 and had sex with her over 50 times, the report stated.

Police arrested Liu after a victim surnamed Yang called police, in her parents’ company, on January 4, 2013.

Liu once served as a security guard at a company in Hefei.
