Man sets bus ablaze to get free prison meals in Hunan Province

Police have caught a man who set a bus on fire this morning in Changsha City, capital of Hunan Province, officers said.
The suspect, surnamed Chen, confessed that he wanted to go to jail for the free meals because he had little money left, according to police.
Chen is from Guangxi and was caught at the scene, police said. He had arrived in Changsha yesterday looking for work.
When the fire started, the driver stopped the bus quickly and opened the doors to evacuate everyone onboard before using fire extinguishers to douse the flames.
No serious injuries were reported.
