Man shot in face in street fight over debts

A man shot another man in his face with a home-made gun in a street fight over debts this morning in Changsha, capital of Hunan Province, local police said.
Both men were injured in the fight and were detained for investigation. Pictures of their bloody fight have been posted online by witnesses. The wounded man was seen lying in blood near a hotel after he was shot around 11am.
The fight was triggered by a debt dispute, police said. A 36-year-old man, surnamed Peng, shot a 42-year-old man, surnamed Li, with a home-made handgun. Li was not fatally wounded.
Police believed there were others involved in the fight and said Peng was also injured in the head by Li using a brick.
There are no further details as investigation is still ongoing.
