Man stabs 3 dead in Fujian park


A MAN has been caught after allegedly stabbing three people to death in an apparent robbery attempt at a park in southeast China's Fujian Province.

Police rushed to the Lujitan Park in Changle City and caught the man, surnamed Huang, after receiving a tip yesterday morning, the China News Service reported.

Huang, 32, a Fujian native, had allegedly killed a coworker surnamed Zhang in Xiamen City where he had worked after Zhang rejected his romantic overtures, according to police.

He fled to Changle City and attempted robbery on four people at the park yesterday morning. Three people died, including two women and a man. Another woman was injured.
