Man wrecks Lamborghini with hammer in protest

A man in the port city of Qingdao in eastern Shandong Province smashed his 3-million-yuan (US$456,489) sports car in open protest against the car maker's poor service after a local repair shop damaged the car instead of fixing it.
Han Nan said in his online post that he staged this sensational act on March 15, the World Consumer Rights Day, to remind other customers of their rights and to vent his anger.
Han spent some 3 million yuan on a second-hand Lamborghini from Japan last September. He went to the car dealer in Qingdao after the sports car's engine failed to start in November, Newssc.org reported today.
However, the dealer's designated repair shop didn't fix the engine problem; instead, it damaged the bumper and chassis. After repeated negotiations the problem still couldn't be solved.
Then came yesterday's scenario when nine people wearing helmets wracked the car with big hammers. Han broadcasted the whole scene live on Sina Weibo, a Twitter-like microblog website in China.
