Military video game to hit shops next year
The online combat game developed by the Chinese military to train its soldiers will become available to the public in 2012, said its developer today.
Wuxi Giant Interactive Group, the co-developer of China's homegrown video battle trainer, said they had won authorization from the People's Liberation Army to commercialize the game for sale, the PLA Daily reported on its website.
The first-person combat game became a training tool for Chinese soldiers and officers in June. It will be adapted to meet the requirements of war game fanatics.
