Mistress airs dirty laundry on TV; official sacked
AN official in eastern China's Shandong Province was sacked over a sex scandal after his mistress exposed their intimate relationship and sordid details on a television program.
The mistress surnamed Zhao arranged an interview with a local TV station and showed evidence of her relationship with Bao Zhenhua, the head of the water affairs bureau in Zhangdian District in Zibo City.
Zhao produced underwear and paper towels allegedly stained with the official's semen. The program aired on July 3, according to yesterday's Chengdu Business Daily.
Zhao also helped a television reporter get an undercover interview with Bao in which he admitted to the hidden camera that he had an intimate relationship with the woman. Zhao then sent the hidden camera footage to the city's Party discipline authority before the commission removed him from his post on July 5.
The mistress told the TV program that she exposed her relationship with Bao because he refused to divorce his wife and marry her. Zhao reportedly fought with Bao's wife in public and demanded she divorce him.
Bao met Zhao at a luxury hotel in the city and their relationship turned sexual soon after. Zhao showed an SMS on the TV program that Bao allegedly sent her. It read that he was "scorched by the desire to have her both mentally and sexually ever since they first met."
Bao was sacked because he "violated the moral rules" of officials, said Zhang, vice head of Zhangdian's publicity department. Bao is now under double-designation status, which is a special investigation scheme of the Party that requires Party members to explain themselves at a designated place and for a designated duration.
In a similar case in Jinhua, east China's Zhejiang Province, a judge was sacked after his mistress sent a sex video of the couple to the city's Party discipline authorities.
