Monkey business

A MEMBER of staff at Wuhan Zoo in central China's Wuhan city performed services beyond the call of duty over the May Day holiday - when he licked the bottom of a rare monkey to help it excrete a nut. Senior breeder Zhang Bangsheng came to the rescue on Monday after the three-month-old Francois langur ate a peanut fed to it by visitors, reported the Wuhan Evening News. The dangerous obstruction was excreted following stimulation. "It could have been life threatening," Zhang said.
