Moon mission analyzed
AN analysis of data from China’s test lunar orbiter is underway after its return on Saturday in preparation for Chang’e-5, the unmanned lunar exploration mission expected to land on the moon by 2017 and return with samples from the lunar surface. With the landing in Inner Mongolia after an 8-day flight, the nation joined the Soviet Union and the United States to become the third to realize a return mission to the moon.
