Moped rider chases 2k to slap cabbie spitting on his face through window

A cab driver in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, was slapped last night by a man who said the driver spitted on his face through the car window.

The taxi driver surnamed Hong spitted around 7:30pm when he was giving change to a customer in Gulou District. A man riding an electric vehicle stopped in front of him, and slapped Hong, Yangtse Evening Post reported on its website.

Hong said he had no idea why he was slapped, and he alerted police.

The man surnamed Zhang claimed he passed by the taxi driver, who spitted on his face deliberately. He followed Hong for about two kilometers and finally caught him.

Zhang said he slapped Hong out of anger.

Police educated both men without making further punishments.
