More fishery patrols
CHINA will conduct daily patrols in the South China Sea in 2014 to better protect the interests of domestic fishermen, Wu Zhuang, chief of the South China Sea Fishery Bureau, said yesterday.
As the bureau's law enforcement capacity grew, "a noticeable improvement will be seen in our enforcement capacity in the next two years." He said 2012 was "a most challenging year."
