Mother jumps to death in 2nd suicide after killing 3 kids

A woman who killed three daughters and attempted suicide after her husband demanded a divorce jumped to death on Saturday from a hospital in Guangdong Province.
Zhang Zhijuan, 40, leaped from the window of her 6th-floor ward in Gaozhou People's Hospital in Gaozhou City, where she was treated for injury from her attempted suicide about three weeks ago, Guangzhou Daily reported today.
Zhang allegedly used a drug to make her three daughters unconscious and stabbed them to death in their home on June 26. Then she cut her wrist but she was saved by others.
Zhang was furious after knowing her husband had a mistress and she grew desperate after her husband asked for a divorce, an unnamed neighbor told the newspaper.
Zhang was under police custody while being treated in the hospital. She remained quiet and seldom talked with others. "She had a suicidal tendency. For example, she banged her head against the wall," a nurse told the newspaper.
