REPRESENTATIVES from at least 20 of the world's famous mountain regions are to gather at Mount Lushan in eastern China's Jiangxi Province in mid October to discuss ways to protect natural heritage sites and promote tourism. Representatives from the Rockies of northern America, the Pyrenees separating France and Spain and Mount Fujiyama of Japan have announced their participation.
