According to the post, Zhang met Cheng at office, asking him to sign her internship certificte, but Cheng took her out for coffee, where he told her about his affections for her.

Seeing that Zhang was a little shocked, Cheng proposed to talk about it at some other place.

The post claims Zhang thought Cheng was inviting her for a meal, so she went with him, but Cheng led her to a budget hostel.

Cheng forcefully took her ID card to check in a room. There, he allegedly raped her, and later sent her 2,000 yuan via Wechat payment.

Her friend convinced her to call the police.

Shortly after the post went viral on the Internet, the Nanfang Daily and Guangzhou police announced investigations to Cheng.
