Nations talk cyber security
SENIOR diplomats from China, Japan and South Korea gathered in Beijing on Tuesday for a cyber security meeting to enhance trust and cooperation in cyberspace, a Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said yesterday.
The meeting was the first of its kind since the establishment of a cyber security consultation mechanism between the three nations earlier this year, Hua Chunying told a news briefing.
Delegates discussed the process of building trust online within the framework of the International Telecommunication Union, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Regional Forum, BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the spokeswoman said.
