A new case of H7N9 infection has been reported in central China’s Hunan Province.
A 39-year-old man is receiving treatment at a hospital in Xiangxiang, while live poultry trading has been suspended across the city.
Experts say the virus is not transmitted from person to person, although contact with live or dead birds should be avoided, and buy quarantine certificated poultry.
