No change on names

THE country’s top legislature yesterday voted to preserve the country’s naming convention, effectively blocking parents from giving their offspring unorthodox monikers.

According to a new interpretation, people must use their parents’ surnames, but can adopt that of another relative, foster parent or other person if they have a “rational reason” to do so.
