No news from Malaysia Airlines draws anger

No updates from the long-awaited Malaysia Airlines press conference in Beijing on Saturday afternoon has irritated those anxious families and friends of the passengers.
According to the spokesperson at the conference, a total of 227 passengers, including two infants, and 12 crew were on board and they are still working to locate the jet.
She noticed information of two pilots on board including their names, ages and flying hours, which have already been released on 10:30 am on the company's website.
The spokesperson just read out from a press release that was already posted on the company's website.
The press conference, which begun around 2:30 pm, lasted no more than five minutes.
Relatives of the missing passengers are becoming angry at the lack of information, with many having gathered for the press conference in an east Beijing hotel. "No representatives from the air company have come to comfort us or provide updates," said one.
"Nothing except a piece of paper reading the statement was given, " a woman in her 30s said.
The hotel is continuing to receive more family members and friends.
The Boeing 777-200 aircraft left the Kuala lumpur International Airport at 00:41 am Beijing time and was expected to land in Beijing at 6:30 am, after a 3,700 -km trip.
Contact with the flight was lost along with its radar signal at 1:20 am. Beijing time on Saturday when it was flying over the Ho Chi Minh air traffic control area in Vietnam.
