‘No tainted oil’ on mainland

Ting Hsin said it does not sell its the tainted cooking oil on the Chinese mainland.
Its only manufacturing base in the eastern city of Hangzhou produces dairy products, according to a report by the National Business Daily.
But the problem oil was being sold on Taobao, an online shopping platform. Some small stores in Xiamen, a city only 300 kilometers from Taiwan, also sold the tainted oil.
Ting Hsin was one of the first batch of companies in Taiwan to sign a letter of guarantee to sell safe oil products.
