A cold front will sweep northern China today, bringing gusty winds and snowstorms, the National Meteorological Center said yesterday.
Heavy snow is expected for parts of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Liaoning Province, while snowstorms will hit central parts of Jilin Province and east areas of Heilongjiang Province.
Temperatures along the Yangtze and Huaihe rivers in central China have plunged 13 degrees Celsius since Thursday.
