Obama to meet Shanghai's youngsters
US President Barack Obama will hold talks with Shanghai's younger generation about the future of Sino-American relationships during his visit, the White House said today.
Obama will start his first China visit in Shanghai after he leaves the APEC summit on Sunday. His visit to Shanghai will include a speech addressing young people.
He will meet Chinese Chairman Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao in Beijing to discuss global challenges such as the economic crisis, nuclear proliferation, and energy cooperation.
The White House said Obama also had plans to go sightseeing in Beijing as it is his first visit to China.
Obama will leave Beijing on November 18 and continue his Asia visit in South Korea.
